RACE DAY INFO & DUBLIN CHAMPS
thank you for registering for the Fiat Lucan Harriers 5 Mile Road Race which takes place this Sunday, September 01 at 11 am.
The race starts and finishes at our clubhouse. It is chip timed but please note that Dublin Championship results will be counted from the gun time.
DUBLIN CHAMPS INFO & TEAM DECLARATIONS.
NO ENTRIES will be taken on the day for the Dublin Championships.
Dublin Champs medals are awarded to the top 3 individuals gold, silver & bronze from age 35 to 65 for both men and women.
Teams have no need to declare unless you wish to keep your age category athletes within their age. Ie. all over 50s to remain on the over team please declare. email Ronan@myrunresults.com
DECLARE BEFORE 6PM SATURDAY NIGHT 31ST.
If you do not delare, teams are based off the fastest 4 across the line. Ie the fastest could be 2 senior and 2 masters. If your masters score on a senior team and do not finish in top 3 team they go back into their masters team. TEAM SCORING: 4 TO SCORE FOR TOP 3 TEAMS FOR ALL TEAMS WITH EXCEPTION OF WOMENS 50+ WITH 3 TO SCORE.
It is served by the C1, C2, L51 and L53 buses.
Please use public transport, walk or cycle where possible as parking is very limited in the area.
Race Number & T-Shirt Collection
Collection is at our clubhouse on Saturday 2-4pm and on Sunday 9-10:30am
If you live locally, please collect on Saturday and avoid the queues on Sunday morning.
Bag Drop
There will be a bag drop area in the clubhouse. You may leave a bag at your own risk.
Toilets
Toilets will be available in the carpark.
Warm-up
Our good friends in www.cityphsio.ie, will lead the warm-up on the track at 10:40am
You are welcome to warm up in the park behind the track. For safety reasons, please do not warm up on the road.
Refreshments
There will be a water station at the halfway point of the race. Water will also be available at the finish line. We invite you and your supporters to join in us in our marquee for our famous post-race spread.
Prizes and Presentation Ceremony
The Tom Byrne Memorial trophies will be presented to the winners of the race.
The race incorporates the Dublin Athletics 5 Mile Championship. There will be medals for the winners and category winners.

The Lucan Harriers A.C. 5 mile road race will take place on Sunday 1st September at 11am. This year will incorporate the Dublin 5 mile Rd Championships.
Lucan Harriers 5 mile race is a fast course with a 1 mile section run along the beautiful Grand Canal. The race finishes with a lap of our new tartan track and to guarantee you achieve your PB we have organised pacers for the main time points.
