PACED KMS WITH RUN DTC

Join Dublin Track Club and MyRunResults for another evening of paced Ks on Wednesday, 19th of August at pm 7.30 with the 1st pace k starting at 8pm, at Lucan Harriers Track. This event will host a paced 5k open to all participants. This is also incorporate our Project 10 initiative. Project 10 is a programme where we coach and train athletes ro run a sub 40 min 10k.

We had a great night in May and we plan to build and progress the event for participants to help achieve their running goals.

This is an intriguing and highly informative event to help improve runners' overall race pace and running techniques. It promises to be a fun, friendly and informative evening. This will be night one of a series of events over the summer months.

We are offering tips and advice on many aspects of running:

- Group warm up from 7.45pm to folllow with

- Exercise drills.

- Pace control advice,

- Q&A with Feidhlim Kelly, 2xOlympic coach (2021+2024) and European medal-winning coach (Mark English 2022).

- Run 1km to assess participants current level of fitness. This will help us advance participants' running goals and training.

- Chip timed results and details added to your personal profile. This will also track and monitor progress over the series.

-All runners are welcome from beginners to experienced athletes.

- Participants will be placed into time slots to run 1km based on their predicted 1km times e.g. 5 mins, 3:30 etc. Pacers will be available to help participants control their pace.

A small fee of €10 will be charged for 1k and €15 for 5k
