Info on Declaring and how to Declare.

NON DECLARED TEAMS. For national road race championships team scoring is defaulted as undeclared. This means that all age categories can fall into a lower age cat team. ie 35+ athlete can fall into a Senior team and a 50+ athlete can fall into 35+ or Senior team if fast enough.

- The fastest 3 teams are automatically senior teams regardless of their age category. ie Senior Women could be all F35+ age cat athletes.

- After the 3 senior teams are determined, clubs who have all master athletes as part of their team will fall back into their age cat team. The 4th place team may have all 35+ athletes. This team is placed back into the 35+ team category.

- Clubs cannot have the same athletes winning multiple medals ie. Senior or Masters.

- 50+ athletes can fall into senior and 35+ teams. This is where some clubs will declare their 50+ teams so they don't fall down.

WHY DECLARE: Teams may declare if they wish to lock their athletes into one age cat team. Ie Clubs can lock their athletes in the 50+ age cat. This prevents them from falling into a senior or 35+ age team if fast enough. This can aid the club in securing 50+ medals by keeping their 50+ age athletes in their team.

HOW TO DECLARE: Just go to the participant list and select the athletes that you wish to declare.

-click on orange button "edit my details"

- on the form you will see a dropdown field where you can declare the athletes as Senior Team, 35+ team or 50+ Team

-When you go back to the participant list you will be able to see the declared athletes.

SENIOR MEN AND WOMEN 3 TO SCORE

35+ MEN AND WOMEN 3 TO SCORE

50+ MEN AND WOMEN 3 TO SCORE

Top 3 teams are awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze.

INDIVIDUAL AGE CAT SCORING.

Top 3 Senior Men and Women, gold, silver and bronze.

35+ and every 5 years, to the oldest age age participating.

Gold, silver and bronxe awarded.
