RACE REPORT

Another epic Echo Women's Mini Marathon in Cork today with over 7,200 signing up for Corks biggest running event on the Calendar. The event is hosted by Cork Athletics and supported by the Echo newspaper. The event attracts thousands of women each ranging from the age of 10 to 85 years old. Many use this event to raise vital funds for their chosen charities. Some fine club athletes also run to compete against each other. Age caregorie prizes makes this vert competitive at the top end. However, most participants find this a great way have fun and enjoy the event along with the entertainment that goes with it. Many families look forward to this day each year as return year on year.
