Omagh Half Marathon was started in 1989 by a small group of Omagh Harriers. The race has grown to be one of the largest Half Marathons in Northern Ireland. In 2019 the race had over 2500 Half competitors.  The Half marathon has a committee of 9 people and a race day crew or over 200 volunteers!!!

The 2023 event will be bigger than ever.  Our move to Sunday racing will give us room to grow further in the coming years. 

Pacers will be there to help you run your target Half Marathon time. We have pacers for 1.30hrs, 1.45hrs, 2hrs, 2.15hrs, & 2.30hrs. They will be clearly visible at the start line.
