As I Am 5k

RACE REPORT

The first ever As I Am 5k was held today in Corckagh Park, Dublin. Over 800 signed up for this sell out event. The event was to highlight Autism in Ireland through the "As I Am" organisation. Their aim is to help promote awareness, educate, and empower those with Autism. It also offers support for friends family and the community. Autism among our young people is very prevalent in Ireland. Events such as can only help the community get a better understanding of Autism.

Today's sell out event was proof that people in Ireland are touched by Autism in their daily lives. Well done to all who took part and especially the event organiser's who ensured all had a great experience.
