RACE REPORT
The Ballincuura 4 mile hosted their annual event today in East Cork. The weather was mild for the time of the year. There was a real fun element and friendly atmosphere to the event. All ages attended the race HQ in Ballincurra GAA grounds where registration and after tea, coffee, sandwiches and fine local baking took place. The race was very well supported by the local GAA club and local athletics clubs. The walkers category started at 10am to get a head start of the runners who started at 11.am. The male winner of the race was Kevin O'Brien of East Cork A.C. The female winner was Fiona Santry also of East Cork A.C. Well done to both. Age categories were for over 40, 50 and 60. .
All participants left this event with a spring in their step looking forward to the festive season.
