RACE REPORT

The Ballymore Cobh AC produced a top class 4 mile event. The annual 4 mile attracted over 230 runners to the stunning Cork coastal town. The town was not just a hit with the usual tourists at this time of year. Runners had a fantastic night out in Cobh. The course was a good testing one with a Finish line straight along Cobh Promenade. This provided plenty of support for runners as they crossed the Finish line. The Finish line area was a lively place to be with music and supporters. It was also a lively place to view the great performance and close battles among runners, as they fought for every second to give them category and team placings. A huge effort was put into the organisation of this years event. Well done to Ballymore Cobh AC.

All runners were treated to some great Ballymore Cobh AC hospitality with after refreshments and treats. A Team event was also up for grabs with 5 runners to score based on time Leevale AC were the winners.
