Brandon Bay, Co. Kerry, 1 of the Irelands many beauty spots is host to Irelands ONLY full beach race from start to finish. This is the 3rd running of this event and is growing in numbers every year, with just under 450 participants registered for this year. This event is definitely 1 to make in your calendar for  2017.

To run a half marathon is challenging on a regular day but can you imagine running it completely on sand with the back drop of Mount Brandon, warm sea breeze in your hair, the sea by your side, the view of the bay and complete freedom, that sounds like heaven to me.
