RACE REPORT

The Seaside Clogherhead 10k was another great success today with just over 300 signing up for the event. The event settings made this a great experience for runners. The main street Start and Finish line added the atmosphere. From early in the day there the excitement was building. Organiser's the Clogherhead Development Group were out in force ensuring the all was ready for the 3pm start. There was real warm and local community feel matched with a big event set up. 

 

Many local clubs from Louth, Meath, Dublin and Down were in attendance to support the event. The race was competitive throughout with age categories up for grabs. The Winner of the race was Stephen    . The female winner was Niamh Devlin of Dundrum South Dublin AC who is from the local town of Drogheda. 

 

 

Profits from the event will be used for the Local Development of Clogherhead.
