Dromiskin 5k

RACE REPORT

Dromiskan 5k produced another great event with just under 700 registering. The Louth village came alive with excitement from early evening with the arrival of runners from all over the county and beyond. Numbers were up by 150 on last year and this was also a record for this event. An pre warm up on St. Joseph's GAA pitch got participants in the mood and ready for action.

The race itself provided spectators with great viewing as they ran 2 laps around the village. Some fine athletes put their foot to the start line for both the male and female races combined.

The winner of the race, smashing the course record was Darragh Greene of Dunleer AC in 14:59. The Female winner was Michelle Finn of Leevale AC in 16:45.
