Farnham Estate Nature Run for Cuan Cancer

RACE REPORT

The First Run For Cuan took place in the magnificent grounds of Farnham Estate in Cavan. Runners were given the Royal Treatment with superb facilities on site. Race HQ was in the Farnham Estate conference and Spa facility. More than 400 participants signed up across all events for the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k trail fun run.

The event was established to create awareness and raise funds for the new local Cancer Charity support group Cuan Cancer Social Support Group Runners we taken on a full loop for the 10k on the surrounding roads around the estate. The half Marathon was made up of 2 loops that was extremely well stewarded.

Another 5k family trail took place in the grounds of the estate itself. There is no doubt that this event has great potential for future years. As runners crossed the finish line they were treated to some fine hot food and beverages in the state of the art Conference facility.
