Indaver Duleek 10k

RACE REPORT

The Indaver Duleek AC 10k took place today in Duleek Co. Meath. Over 350 runners came to the East Meath village to take on the 10k route. Duleek AC hosted a fantastic event that participants would certainly agree with. The GAA grounds provided the central Hub where race Registration, Start and Finish Lines were located. Runners enjoyed a warm up session on the GAA pitch before hand. Once this warm up was complete the race began. The Course itself consisted of one full 10K loop with right hand turns back to the central hub of the GAA grounds. The Finish Line was a lively place to be as runners were greeted to music and commentary to get them across the line.

The race was a tight affair as age category and team prizes produced some very competitive running among runners. Bragging rights was all to run for. Many clubs were in attendance in search of honours. Meath, Louth and Dublin clubs were Stronly represented. The Team prize Male winners with 3 to score were North East Runners

and the Ladies team winners were Drogheda & District AC
