Ireland Fittest Company
RACE REPORT
The first running of Ireland's Fittest Company with Eversheds & Sutherland was a great sucess this evening in the state of the art Abbottstown cross country course. The event was hosted by INM Media and Athletics Ireland on behalf of Eversheds & Sutherland. Companies entered teams of 5 runners who needed to complete 5 laps x 1km. The first runner ran 5k, and then picked up the rest of his team members on the remaining laps. The 5k was normally the strongest runner collecting another team mate on 4k, 3k, 2k and 1k. All 5 runners needed to finish together.

There is no doubt that runners had a great evening. This is certainly a corporate event for the future. The weather conditions were damp but this did not deter any of the teams from turning up and competing. Just under 500 runners took part. This was a real corporate team building event. It also helped create wellness and a healthy lifestyle within the workplace.
