Leinster CC Senior, Jnr & U19 Results

RACE REPORT

Day 3 of the Leinster Cross County took place in the same excellent location and venue as Day 2 in New Forest Golf Club, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath. Today saw the Un Even age groups from Under 9 to Under 19 along with Junior and Senior Races. Again large numbers attended the Centrally located venue. Most of the under age Athletes knew what to expect from the course as they had participated in the Even age groups 2 weeks previous. Some fine results were recorded by the the under age clubs and counties with some very strong competition

This year saw the amalgamation of the Junior and Under 19 races. The Senior event in both men and women's categories also produced some fine performances. Leinster's top Club talents were on show giving rise to close battles. Every point for places were competed for. Leinster cross country is in very good condition at the moment, with high attendances and performances backing this up.
