LSA Peninsula 4 Mile Road Race 2025

The LSA Peninsula 4 Mile was a rip roaring success for the North Dublin club. Over 475 runners signed up along with a further 120 plus kids. We had a great atmosphere in Donabate. A full road closure was in place that led to a very safe and secure race. The Start and finish line were on the main ring road of Donabate, which created a very fast downhill finish. It was a fully loop along the coast taking left hand turns to come back and complete the loop to the finish.

The race itself was won by Clonliffe's Malcom Kiplagat in a time of 20:14. We had a great finish with only 3 seconds between the top 2 runners of Malcom and Adam Foy of Donore Harriers. Dave Rooney of Raheny Shamrock A.C, and coached by Dublin Track, who was a previous winner finished in 3rd place.

Raheny Shamrock A.C. had a win in the Women's race as Kate Crowley clocked 22:40 and had a comfortable win. Kate is also part of the Dublin Track cocking stable. In 2nd place was Sinead Farrell of the host club LSA and Cindy Hickey of Clonliffe Harriers in 3rd.

There was big support from local clubs making this a very enjoyable event that had  everything from top end racing, fun running and a great family day out.
