Lucan Harriers A.C. 5 Mile
RACE REPORT

Back by popular demand the Lucan 5 Mile returned this morning and was a great success. Over 400 runners registered to take part today with a further 100 running the distance virtually. This event appealed not only to top Athletes but joggers and walkers. There was a great feel and atmosphere to this year's event. The Lucan club certainly organised fantastic day. Many clubs singlets from Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Wicklow, Louth and beyond were seen through the mass of runners.
The event started outside the Lucan club house and finished on the clubs newly surfaced tartan track. The post race refreshments & prize giving were held on the infield where runners could admire the new track and discuss the morning run.
The winner of the race was Mick Clohisey of Raheny Shamrock A.C. in a time of 24:12 with Sarah McMahon of Dundrum South Dublin A.C. taking the top female position.
Results also included age cats and team results.
Well done to Lucan Harriers, volunteers and participants for making this a successful event.
