Malahide Community School 5k
RACE REPORT
The first running of the Malahide CS Wellbeing 5k took place this eve in Malahide. Over 200 runners took the challenge to support wellbeing among the school community. Parents and students enjoyed a great evening of running. The aim of the event was to help promote a healthy life style for students and the local community through physical activity and eating habits. Local Athletics Clubs also supported the event with Portmarnock AC, Star of the Sea AC, Raheny Shamrock AC, Balbriggan Roadrunners & District AC, Clonliffe Harriers and many more.
The winner was Robert Frewan of Raheny and Shamrock AC. The ladies winner was also of Raheny Shamrock AC. The consistent and ever performing Annette Kealy was took top spot beating off some fine athletes on her way.
