RACE REPORT

 

 

 Navan Road Club staged a superb Cross Country cycle event in the Blackwater Park in Navan, Co. Meath. Over 150 cyclists entered the 4 events from Junior, Ladies, and 2 Men's races A and B. This was a very testing course consisting of 2.2k laps. This was very well organised with Cycling clubs from all over the country in attendance. Cyclists were treated to much needed  hot food after their grueling encounter. The Ladies and Juniors completed 4 laps, the B race had 8 with the A  race completing 9 laps. The A race had all the hard work as this was the last race. The course at this stage was well carved up creating very sticky and mucky conditions.
