Patrick Bell 5k Meath

RACE REPORT

A fabulous Summers day welcomed all runners to the Patrick Bell 5k.. This was real family fun day out with some serious running as the main event. As ever the days race was centered around the BBQ party that takes place after the race with families and runners staying behind for several hours to bask in the summer sunshine. This event provides real value for money..

The community spirit and work put in by Bohermeen AC makes this a highlight event in Meath and the surrounding area. The race itself attracted over 350 runners...

The race was won by Peter Somba from Dunboyne AC and the female winner was Ciara Hickey of Bros Pearse

... Age category results were also awarded along with 2 team prizes.. the first team results was for Patrick Bell team prize with 4 to score. The second team prize was the "Paddy Murtagh" cup with 6 to score. The second Ladies team prize the "Mallon Cup" was also 6 to score.
