St Josephs AC Pink Rock 10k 2025

Total finishers: 205

The Pink Rock 10k hosted by St. Joseph's A.C. attracted their largest number of participants to date. This was also part of the Kilkenny 10k road race championship. Over 240 runners registered and a further 20 walkers signed up.

The race venue lies just on the Wexford border with New Ross which is just minutes away. The race was very well supported by Kilkenny and Wexford clubs and other counties. We had Wicklow and Dublin clubs also in attendance.

The course is a hidden gem. It is certainly a pb course and no doubt news will travel on how good this course is. It has the 1st km downhill. It then takes athletes out on a long straight flat section of road. This is an out and back to the finish line. This is well worth taking a look at, if you want to run a fast time.

The race itself was won by Alan Duffy of Sli Cualann (Wicklow)  in a  time of 33:29. In 2nd was James Kelly of Kilkenny and also first Kilkenny man home. Eamon O'Connor of Kilkenny City Harriers was 3rd. Kilkenny City Harriers were provisionally named as county champions and also the Pink Rock 10k first team. Gowran A.C. were 2nd and St.Senans were 3rd.
The women's race was won by Fiona Kehoe of Kilmore A.C. in a time of 38:39. 2nd place was Adele Walsh of St. Senans A.C. and also the first Kilkenny woman home. In 3rd place was Grace Reilly. Kilkenny City Harriers were the team winners with St. Joseph's A.C 2nd. 3rd team was St. Senans A.C.

Well done to Rocky Mernagh and his crew in St. Joseph's A.C for another great event.
