Tara AC 5K & 3K Road Race

RACE REPORT

Tara A.C. had another bumper at their race with a whopping 400 adults and over 200 children making their way to the Meath Clubs annual 5k and 3k event. The underage structure is one of the strongest in the county. The level of effort at this level was rewarded with a huge turnout with many other clubs attending. The adults race attracted runners from Meath, Dublin Louth, Wicklow and beyond.

The winner of the 5k was Jonathan Escalante Philips from English club Cambridge and Colerige. This was his 2nd win is as many night after winning Portmarnock 5 Mile last night.

Laura McDonnell of Tallaght AC took top spot for the ladies. Age cat were awarded to from age 40 to 70 along with team prizes.

Results also included age cats and team results.

Well done to Tara A.C. making this another highly successful year
