
EVENT REPORT
The Windmill Run hosted by Garristown flyers had a record number of sign ups nearly double that what they normally have for their 5k and 10k. Nearly 800 registered for the event that sold out earlier in the week. This was also the Dublin 10k Championships for both men and women.
Ian Guidan of Clonliffe Harriers made a comeback after being away for many months abroad and won in style. Ian won the 10k race and was crowned Dublin champ with a time of 31:52. Anthont Sharkey was 2nd and in 3rd was Ronan Dunphy of Skerries A.C.

The Dublin senior team champs with 4 to score were Liffey Valley A.C. made up of all senior runners. The masters 35+ winners were LSA A.C. with Raheny Shamrock A.C winning the men's 50+ team.
The women's race was won by Ciara Broderick Farrell of Liffey Valley A.C. in a time of 39:58 Liffey Valley enjoyed a good day at this year's Dublin championships.Sarah Jane Mclaughlin of St. Andrews A.C. was 2nd in the women's race overall. In the 3rd palace was Tara Darcy of Tallaght A.C.
Lusk A.C were the women's senior winners. The over 35+ team winners were Clonliffe Harriers.Lusk A.C brought big numbers to this year's championship and it paid off in style. Their first 4 women across the line were fast enough to be overall team winners (senior) and still made up a 2nd Masters team to take bronze in the over 35+. The 50+ team winners were Civil Service Harriers.

Results will be provisional for several days.
Team results will also alter further down the results placings. To make up the top senior and 35 teams athletes from an age cat above are moved down to fill teams.
