Tralee Harriers Half Marathon & 10k

RACE REPORT

The Annual and very popular Tralee Harriers Half Marathon, 10k & 5k took place in a wet a windy Tralee. The race started and finished in the wetlands which certainly lived after its name.

The runners braved the wild conditions in Kerry, however there was great fun, music and banter created on the start and finish line to combat the wet conditions. The damp mood was lifted with some very uplifting commentary.

The winner of the main Half Marathon event was local Derek Griffin and the female winner was

sorcha Loughnane.

The 10k overall winner was Conor O'Mahony of An Riocht A.C. and the female winner was Catherine Henley.

The 5k overall winner was Niamh O'Mahony of An Riocht A.C.

Kerry club An Riocht had some great success in all distances with some fine performances by their young athletes.
