RACE REPORT

Tullamore Harriers AC hosted their 4th Annual Half Marathon with great success today. Just over 830 runners signed up for the event, including relay runners. The weather conditions were ideal for running a Half Marathon Distance. The Race finished on the Harriers track that provided a great atmosphere for participants and spectators. Clubs from all corners of the country were in attendance. Some fast times were ran due to good running conditions and a quality field of runners helping each along the way.

As ever this was a very well organised event by Tullamore Harriers. The success and popularity of the event has been proven by the increase in numbers since it's inception 4 years ago. This year's winner was Stephen Conroy of Celbridge A.C . The Female winner was the home town queen of Tullamore Pauline Curley of Tullamore Harriers. Pauline will also be running the Longford Marathon tomorrow. Best of luck Pauline.

There were age categories for male and female for over 40, over 50, and over 60. There was also the Quinlan Cup up for grabs. The team prize for both men and women
