Race Report

This year's first Wild Atlantic Run in Loop Head was a major success with over 430 runners making the trip to the stunning and iconic Loop Head in County Clare.. The Back drop of Loop Head Light House and the stunning cliff top views made this event a star attraction.. 

 

Participants took part in 2 events comprising of a 10k and Half Marathon. 

 

The Finish Line for both races was located at Loop Head Light House. The weather conditions were mild and runner friendly. Many happy faces could be seen crossing the Finish Line. The Event was managed in a truly professional manner, giving the Runners a great experience. Frank Greally of Irish Runner Magazine was on hand providing PA assistance, and very welcome motivation to all runners. 

 

10k Start of the Wild Atlantic Run

 

 The 10k was kicked off with a fabulous warm up conducted by MyRunResults Lucy Darcy..

 

Participant's of this event are already looking forward to the next Wild Atlantic Run in Westport on May 28^th. Each Finisher received a stunning medal and T Shirt. There will be a themed medal and T shirt for all Wild Atlantic Run events.
