Description
We are thrilled and excited to present to you “Wild Run Challenge.” This health and wellness challenge is designed to get everyone active and raise some much-needed funds for St. Vincent's Foundation - Liver Unit and Fowlers Syndrome UK.

The Challenge:
This Two Week challenge is all about improving your own physical, nutritional and mental wellbeing. You can track your progress to see how many kms that you have travelled, as well as seeing what we have achieved collectively, so be sure to track and record your distances as you go using the “Submit Distance” function.

Choose your target to reach over the fortnight
- 42km - Marathon distance
- 26km - Half Marathon distance
- Free for all - no target distance just see how many kms you can rack up.

Whether you are running, jogging or walking we encourage you to lace up your shoes, get out whenever you can and at your own pace.
When out late at night or early in the morning, always remember to pop your high viz on and take care while exercising! Make sure to connect with some friends, club mates or colleagues and look for new routes, new parks, new trails – and if you need some extra encouragement why not bring the family along too.

St. Vincent's Foundation - Liver Unit

The National Liver Transplant Programme has been running at St. Vincent’s University Hospital since 1993 and has performed over 1000 liver transplants to date.
To date, 1295 transplants have been performed. An average of 55-60 transplants are carried out every year. Each transplant is a lifesaving procedure that is only possible because of the enormous generosity of the donors and their families

Fowlers Syndrome UK

Fowler’s Syndrome UK (FSUK) is the only charity in the world to directly support women with this condition.
Fowler’s Syndrome UK is a unique patient and clinician led charity that works to raise awareness, promote education and encourage research into the debilitating bladder condition.

The Wild Run West
This St Patrick's Weekend, Ailbhe, Bob and Eimear will be undertaking the ultimate endurance challenge of running from Latton, Co. Monaghan to Westport, Co. Mayo (5 marathons - 210km) in 72 hours.
